Wisconsin River Bridge Project

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation has undertaken a project to expand the bridge that crosses the Wisconsin River in downtown Mosinee. Such a massive effort will cause periodic closures of the bridge, sometimes for days at a time. This will also affect getting children to school in Mosinee. If your child gets a ride or drives themselves to school, they will have to leave earlier than normal to get there on time. If students are picked up by the bus, they will be picked up at the normal time, but busses will just arrive to school later than normal. If your child rides the bus, they will also get home later than normal. Please check the city of Mosinee's Website for closure dates as they will potentially change. The dates of closure are always pending due to weather, which can cause even bigger delays or change the dates entirely. Click here for directions around the bridge.
