2003
Carol M. White PEP Grant
Winner
In 2003 the Mosinee School District was one of nine schools in Wisconsin awarded a PEP grant. The grant was written by our wellness education department. A total of 1,365 applications were received nation wide and 256 grants were awarded.
The purpose of the Carol M. White Physical Education Program (PEP) grant is to provide funds to local educational agencies to initiate, expand, and improve physical education programs in order to make progress toward meeting state standards for physical education.
$430,000 of PEP grant funds were used to purchase our climbing wall & ropes course, fitness equipment and other curricular equipment for the K-12 Wellness Education department.
