Welcome to Mr. Ley's Website!

This semester will be a learning experience for myself to add as much useful information for students and parents related to being successful in the science classes I teach.  This semester those classes are Chemistry and Honors Chemistry Lab.  Stop in to room 632 at the High School or send me an email if you have questions.

I have taught in Mosinee at the High School since 1994. Since graduating from UW-Platteville in 1989, I have taught students from grades 5 through tech school age in Platteville and New London Wisconsin and even a short stint in Blooming Prairie Minnesota (Mascot there was called the Awesome Blossom!)  In 1995 I finished a National Science Foundation Chemical Institute at UW-La Crosee that lasted 4 summers and allowed me to get a MS in Chemical Education.  Since then I have taken graduate classes through Marion, Viterbo, UW-Eau Claire, and UW-Platteville.  Besides the classroom I coached Football and Wrestling at different times at the schools I taught at till 2007.  Since retiring from coaching I have cultivated a love for bow hunting.
