I was born in Wausau, WI then traveled all over the United States as a daughter of a US Marine.  I spent the next 4 1/2 years at UW-Stevens Point working on my teaching degree.  In the fall of 2007, I was an intern in Mosinee in the 1-2-3 multiage classroom.  In December 2007,  I graduated with a Bachelor's of Science in Elementary Education with a minor in English as a Second Language with an emphasis in Spanish.  I began substitute teaching in the spring of 2008 for the Wausau and Mosinee School Districts.  I began my full-time teaching career in Mosinee in the 2008-2009 school year as a multiage teacher.  I am currently in my 4th year of teaching and pursuing a Masters Degree in Educational Leadership.

     In May, my husband and I recently were blessed with our first child, Austin.  Our lives have changed immensely, but we would not change one second of it.  We love discovering the joys of being parents.  

     In the summer, we enjoy spending time on Lake DuBay fishing and boating.  We take family walks in our neighborhood and enjoy having cookouts with family and friends. I am an avid Dallas Cowboy fan and enjoy watching my favorite team compete.  In the winter, I enjoy snowmobiling and spending time inside reading and watching movies.  

     My husband and his family have grown up in the Mosinee area and we l look forward to raising our son in this school district!
