Welcome to Kindergarten

It is my pleasure to welcome you and your young learner to five year old kindergarten.  Your family will be embarking on a wonderful journey that will hopefully surprise, enlighten and enrich both of your lives as we work together to establish a strong foundation that will enable your child to become a life-long learner. 

Kindergarten is exciting. Your young learner will grow through self-discovery and awareness.  I will be fostering independence and helping your child gain and use skills necessary for him/her to work in both small and large groups.  I will be  continually encouraging your child to move to a greater level of understanding and critical thinking. 

I want your young learner to feel valued, empowered, competent and successful in school everyday.   I provide a variety of activities that allow him/her to try out new ideas and be challenged with new experiences that engage all areas of his/her development. 

I would like to thank all of my parents for always trying their best to send me their brightest, most thoughtful child(ren) everyday.  It is your guidance and love that shows through here at school as I, and all of our kindergarten team, interact positively with your child daily.
