Welcome to Sixth Grade Communications!
We are going to have a great year working together to help all students succeed. If there is anything I can do to help, a positive comment you would like to pass along, or questions you may have, please do not hesitate to ask.
Email is the best way to get ahold of me during the school day. However, if you would prefer to call, please call between 1:45 and 3:30. I will do my best to reply to emails and return phone calls as soon as possible.
Thanks!

My history and interests
I attended Wartburg College in Waverly,Iowa, for my undergraduate degree in elementary education (certified grades 1-8) and business administration. Following college, I moved to Madison and taught fourth grade for five years in the Mt. Horeb Area School District. In addition to teaching, I will be finishing my master’s degree at UW-Madison in Educational Leadership and Policy Analysis in December 2011. Besides keeping busy with graduate school and teaching, I enjoy traveling, scrapbooking, reading, and golfing.
