I am excited to start this year at Mosinee High School!  I will be teaching MS Word/Keyboarding, TC Accounting, Advanced Accounting, Marketing, MS Publisher, MS Excel, and Personal Finance this year.  In addition, I am the DECA and School Store Advisor.  

I earned my Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from the University of Wisconsin in 1993.  Upon graduation, I was interested in becoming an Event/Meeting Planner.  To gain some hospitality experience, I worked as a Hotel & Restaurant Manager at the Hyatt in Milwaukee, Valley Inn in Neenah, and Paper Valley Hotel in Appleton.  I was also a Sales & Marketing Manager for the family business and gained more experience working at tradeshows.  In 1998, I excepted a Community Director position with the March of Dimes in Wausau and planned various fundraising events.  Then, in 2004, I began working as a Conference Program Planner/Community Medical Education Specialist, where I stayed planning conferences and educational workshops until becoming a teacher.

Once I met my goal of being a meeting planner, my interests turned to education.  Working with physician education, only increased my desire to teach.  After beginning, my work towards my Masters in Education, I discovered an opportunity to get my teaching certification.  

In the past two years, I've completed my student teaching in Marshfield and been gaining experience as a short term and long term substitute in Marshfield, DCE, Mosinee, and Waupaca. After all life's twists and turns,  I'm very happy to find a place to call home in Mosinee!
