Middle School Jazz Band is open to any middle school student currently registered for concert band. Beginning in February, jazz band meets every Tuesday and Thursday at 3:30pm - 4:45 pm with some additional rehearsals as needed. The group uses a jazz band method book and sheet music as its text. The goal of the Middle School Jazz Band program is to provide students with a positive musical experience and solid foundation in jazz music. This is a performance group and will hold a concert and travel in the community.
