Dear Students and Parents,
It is with pleasure that we welcome you to another exciting year at Mosinee Middle School. MMS is dedicated to creating a safe and positive learning environment while meeting the educational needs of all students. We sincerely encourage all parents to monitor their child’s academic progress, visit our school, and stay in touch with their child’s teachers.
One way parents and students have the opportunity to monitor academic progress is by using Skyward’s Family Access. Family Access allows parents to go on-line to view their child’s attendance, grades, schedule, assignments, and emergency information. MMS will mail updated directions and passwords in mid-September. Students will be issued their own passwords at school.
At MMS, students grow physically, socially, and academically as they become more independent and assume more responsibility for their own learning. Some of that responsibility can be facilitated by using their student planners. Student planners are provided to all students and are designed to support student achievement and enhance school-to-home communication. Students are encouraged to use their planner every day to manage homework assignments, class projects, and important dates. Parents are encouraged to frequently review their child’s planner and offer necessary assistance and support at home to help ensure their student’s academic progress.
We encourage every student to get involved by taking full advantage of the numerous academic, athletic and extra-curricular opportunities as well as PTO sponsored events.
Sincerely,
Ron Mueller, Principal
