The Mosinee Parent-Teacher Organization welcomes you to the 2011-12 school year. The PTO is established in all three schools in our district, and we are currently entering our 26th year of service to the school district.
Funds for PTO activities are derived from a very successful Fall Fundraiser. The $20,000+ in profits are used to fund the 6-8 dances, K-5 Sock Hop, 4/5 Fun Night and a variety of enrichment opportunities in the form of performers and speakers who are brought into the schools. A donation is also made to each of the schools for the purpose of providing culturally enriching experiences for our children. Additionally, the PTO accepts fund requests throughout the year from teachers and staff members for anything from classroom materials to field trips to health room supplies.
Monthly PTO meetings are held on the second Monday of the month at 6:00 p.m. in the Elementary School community room. Any changes in meeting dates and times are published in the Mosinee Times, the Link, and the building newsletters.
The Mosinee Parent-Teacher Organization has a firm commitment to working in partnership with our schools. It is our desire to work with teachers and administrators to provide our students with the best educational experience possible. We believe that our goals are best accomplished by working together!
