A Message from the Superintendent of Schools

 

Welcome to the Mosinee School District and our website. We encourage you to review this website which was completely revised in 2010 to learn more about our school district. The new website provides you with more information and makes it easier for you to use. You will see that by clicking on the school sites that it much easier to locate teachers and communicate by telephone or email. You are also welcome to view our school board meetings through your high speed internet connection by simply clicking on an icon on the website.

 

In 2010 we met with citizens and school personnel to design a new five year strategic plan. The new vision is “Schools and Community Preparing Students for a Changing World”. You are encourage to use this website to view the complete plan. 

 

We believe that Mosinee is a great place to live, raise a family and send your children to school. The Mosinee School District is large enough to offer an excellent curriculum, taught by highly qualified staff. Our students demonstrate our excellent educational program yearly as they excel in state assessments, academics, co-curricular programs, receive scholarships and are accepted at many of the best colleges and universities.

 

Community partnerships have been a focus in our school district for many years. We are especially proud of the Creske Community Center, located between our middle school and high school. The modern facility includes a swimming pool, auditorium, library media center, technology center and modern classrooms. We are also proud of the new addition and remodeling of the elementary school which was completed in 2008. It is an excellent facility with room to grow.

 

Mosinee is large enough to provide a variety of student activities and small enough to provide individual student attention. In Mosinee, our students know each other and parents have access and input into the system.
