Summer School Begins Monday, June 1st!

Please read the following reminders:

Classes run Monday-Thursday mornings with no classes on Fridays. Please see the list below of locations, classes, dates, and times.

Elementary School

(June 1-July 2)

  • Drop-off and Pick Up: 7:30-7:50; Pick-up: 12:00 p.m.
  • Free breakfast is offered from 7:30-7:50 a.m.
    • Little Learners, Kickoff to Kindergarten, Fun in First Grade, Fun for All Abilities
    • All students in these classes eat lunch. Free school lunch is offered.
    • Main Entrance of Elementary School

Elementary School

(Session One: June 1-June 11; Session Two: June 15-July 2)

  • Drop off: 7:30-7:50 a.m.; Free breakfast is offered from 7:30-7:50 a.m.
    • Use the 12th Street Entrance, “Bus Lane” to drop off
  • Pick up: 12:05 p.m.; Students may stay in the cafeteria until 12:10 p.m. to finish lunch. Only students wishing to eat the free school lunch will go to the cafeteria.
    • Grades 2-8 Academic and Choice Classes
    • Use the 12th Street Entrance and parking lot to pick up
      • Walk to pick up students from outside of doors 1 and 2 

Swimming Class at High School 

(Session One: June 1-June 11, Session Two: June 15-July 2)

  • Drop off: 7:30-7:50 a.m.; Pick up: 12:10 p.m.
  • Swimming Periods 1 and 4 only
  • Creske Entrance

Middle School

(Session One: June 1-June 11, Session Two: June 15-July 2)

  • Driver’s Education, MS Speed and Strength, and 6-12 Credit Recovery
  • Enter the Middle School Main Entrance

Additional Reminders

  • Pack a snack and a water bottle in a backpack. 
  • Please print or write down your child’s schedule found in Skyward and send it with them on the first day. If your child’s schedule says “Multiple,” it means they are either scheduled for our Math and Reading Academic classes or our Outdoor Games and Swimming class. We will also have staff available to help direct students to where they need to go. 
  • Please see the maps below for drop-off and pick-up sites at all buildings. Cones will mark the drop-off and pick-up areas at the elementary school. Students in Little Learners and Kindergarten will meet in ES Classrooms, and students in 1-8 will eat breakfast or go to the playground. For dismissal, students will be with their fourth-period teacher until released to their parent/guardian. 
    • Little Learners, Kindergarten, and First Grade will dismiss from the main entrance
    • Grades 2-8 will dismiss from doors 1 and 2 by the staff parking lot off 12th Street
  • Free breakfast and lunch will be offered daily.
    • Please encourage your child to try our free breakfast and lunch!
    • A lunch menu will be provided as soon as possible.
    • Grades 2-8: Only students wishing to take a free school lunch eat. 11:55-12:10 
    • All students in Little Learners, K, and 1 will eat lunch between 11:20 and 11:55 
  • If your student has a health need, please email our school nurse, Sara Goettl: click here to make arrangements. 
  • If your child is absent from summer school, will be late, or needs to leave early, please click here to email, or call the school at 715-693-2810. If you pick up your child early, please check in at the school's front office to sign them out.
  • If your student is in Swimming/Outdoor Games, they need to pack a swimsuit and a towel. Students should bring an umbrella or wear a raincoat on rainy days. They will be walking to and from. (Students in period 1 swimming should wear their suits and pack dry clothes.)
  • Tennis shoes are encouraged as footwear.
  • Make sure your child knows where they are going after school, whether it is pick up by parents, Kidstown, or Storybook.
