Mosinee School District is excited to bring back its Summer School Program for 2026, featuring engaging and enriching learning experiences. The program runs June 1–July 2, with classes held Monday through Thursday from 7:50 a.m. to 12:05 p.m., balancing academic time with summer fun.
Meals
- Breakfast and lunch are available daily and are FREE for students age 18 and under. This is a special condition for the 2026 summer only due to the construction project at the high school.
- Breakfast is available daily from 7:30 - 7:50 am.
- Kick Start to Kindergarten, Little Learners, and Fun in First Grade students will eat lunch during Summer School hours.
- Students in Grades 1–8 will be offered time to eat in the cafeteria from 11:55 am - 12:10 pm, or they can take a grab-and-go lunch home. Lunch count will be done at the beginning of Summer School each day.
Program Offerings
- Entering Kindergarten: Kick Start to Kindergarten — designed to build confidence and readiness for the upcoming school year.
- Entering First Grade: Fun in First Grade — a blend of learning and hands-on activities.
- Entering Grades 2–5: Daily Reading Camp and Action Math classes that keep learning active and engaging. Students will also choose two studio classes for each session.
- Entering Grades 6–8: The opportunity to participate in up to four studio classes per week.
Choice Studio Classes
Studio classes are hands-on, interactive, and designed to spark student interest. Offerings may include swimming lessons, art, outdoor adventures, speed and strength, science, LEGO building, and more. Due to construction at the high school, all classes—except swimming—will be held at the elementary school.
A full class listing and detailed descriptions are shared with families on the Mosinee School District Webpage under Summer School. We will continue to update information as class options can change. Stay tuned for more information, and we hope to see your child join us for Summer School 2026!
