Welcome to the Mosinee School District!

The Mosinee School District encompasses 248 miles, including 9 different municipalities. The district borders on the school districts of Wausau, Marathon, Edgar, Stratford, Auburndale, Stevens Point, Rosholt, Wittenberg-Birnamwood, Marshfield, and DC Everest. Mosinee School District is home to three main schools: Elementary - Middle School - High School, and is home to approximately 2,000 students.

Open Enrollment Dates – February 2 - April 30, 2026 The Wisconsin Department of

Open Enrollment Dates – February 2 - April 30, 2026

The Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction (DPI) has announced the dates for public school Open Enrollment for the 2026-27 school year. Children in 4K to grade 12 may apply to attend a nonresident school district under the open enrollment program. However, a child may transfer to a nonresident school district for early childhood education or 4K only if the child’s resident school district offers the same type of program and only if the child is eligible for that program in the resident school district. The regular open enrollment application period for the 2026-27 school year begins on February 2, 2026, and ends at 4:00pm on April 30, 2026. Late applications will not be accepted. Children who turn four on or before September 1, 2025 are eligible to register. Registration for 4K

Children who turn four on or before September 1, 2025 are eligible to register. Registration for 4K opens on February 4, 2026.

Register your child in Mosinee’s Skyward Family Access portal.
Complete open enrollment and transportation forms as needed.
Share your 4K site needs starting at noon on February 4, 2026.
