Education for Homeless Children
It is the policy of the Mosinee School District to ensure that homeless children and youth are provided with equal access to educational programs, have an opportunity to meet the same challenging state academic achievement standards, are not segregated on the basis of their homeless status, and to establish safeguards that protect homeless students from discrimination on the basis of their homelessness.
Each homeless child or youth shall be provided comparable services offered to other students in the school.
For more information on the Mosinee School District's services for homeless children and youth, please contact Scotty Witkus at 715-693-3660 ext. 2143 or 715-660-1774.
