Open Enrollment Dates – February 2 - April 30, 2026 

The Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction (DPI) has announced the dates for public school Open Enrollment for the 2026-27 school year. Children in 4K to grade 12 may apply to attend a nonresident school district under the open enrollment program. However, a child may transfer to a nonresident school district for early childhood education or 4K only if the child’s resident school district offers the same type of program and only if the child is eligible for that program in the resident school district. The regular open enrollment application period for the 2026-27 school year begins on February 2, 2026, and ends at 4:00pm on April 30, 2026. Late applications will not be accepted. Children who turn four on or before September 1, 2025 are eligible to register. Registration for 4K opens on February 4, 2026.

If interested in the 4K program, please follow these steps:

1. Register your child in Mosinee’s Skyward Family Access portal.
2. Complete open enrollment and transportation forms as needed.
3. Share your 4K site needs starting at noon on February 4, 2026.

The Mosinee High School Student Senate will be hosting the annual Evening of Elegance dinner Saturday, April 11th, 2026 at 4:00 pm.

• Reception social will be hosted in the Creske Community Center lobby followed by musical entertainment by the MHS band and choir. 
• Dinner will then be at 5:00 pm in the high school cafeteria.

This event is FREE to any Mosinee community member who is 65 years of age and older.
