Welcome to Mosinee Elementary School!

It is with great pleasure that I welcome you to our school website! As principal, I am incredibly excited to embark on this journey with our students, staff, and families for another wonderful school year.

I've been a proud member of this district since 2001, and in that time, my wife Jamie and I have had the privilege of watching all three of our own children (Trey, Kate, and Britt) graduate from Mosinee High School. This community is not just where I work, but where I've raised my family, and that deep connection fuels my passion for ensuring every student receives the best possible education.

My career in education began in 1998, and over the years, I've seen firsthand the incredible growth and potential within our young learners. Outside of school, you can often find me enjoying the great outdoors, whether I'm cheering on a sports team, out hunting, or casting a line while fishing. These activities remind me of the importance of teamwork, patience, and the joy of discovery – values I hope to instill in our students.

At Mosinee Elementary, we are committed to providing a nurturing and challenging environment where every child can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. We believe in fostering a love for learning, encouraging curiosity, and celebrating the unique talents of each student.

Assistant Principal's Welcome

Welcome to Mosinee Elementary School! I am grateful for the opportunity to serve Mosinee Elementary School as its Assistant Principal. Mosinee has a great tradition of excellence to give a solid foundation as our students grow. I have always admired the great resources and opportunities this area has to offer our young leaders of tomorrow, and I am honored I get to be a part of that here at MES. It is my goal to continually work alongside and collaborate with our teachers and parents to ensure that each and every child grows academically and socially during their time at Mosinee Elementary School.

Previous to taking on the Assistant Principal role at the Elementary school I was the Assistant Principal at MMS for 3 years. Prior to that I was the 6-8 Physical Education teacher and long time coach of several sports for 21 years at Mosinee Middle School. Outside of school, I enjoy camping with friends and family, live music, sports mom and avid Badger Fan. I live in Mosinee with my husband Dennis, I have three daughters who are all part of the Mosinee community and our dog Luna.

Developmental Screening - February 6

The Mosinee School District is hosting The "Other Check-Up” a free developmental

The Mosinee School District is hosting The "Other Check-Up” a free developmental screening on February 6, 2026 from 7:00am-12:00pm at Mosinee Elementary School, 600 12th Street. The event gives parents an opportunity to have their children, three to five years of age, complete a screening of all areas of their development. Children will be asked to complete a variety of activities in the areas of motor skills, verbal skills, and cognitive/readiness skills. Parents need not have concerns to schedule a screening. District residents may schedule an appointment by calling Becky at 715-693-3660, ext. 2140.

MHS Recognized as AP Pacesetter School

The Wisconsin Advanced Placement Advisory Council (WAPAC) and the Wisconsin Department of Public

The Wisconsin Advanced Placement Advisory Council (WAPAC) and the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction have recognized Mosinee High School as a Level 3 Pacesetter School. This award recognizes Wisconsin schools that have a high participation rate in AP classes along with a high percentage of students earning a 3 or higher on their AP exam.

AP classes challenge students by providing college-level courses while still in high school, as well as providing students the opportunity to earn college-level credit or placement by scoring a 3 or higher on the AP exam. According to the College Board, studies show that students who participate in AP courses are more likely to attend college, achieve greater academic success, and have higher graduation rates than their non-AP peers.

Mosinee High School is honored to receive this recognition and is proud to provide these opportunities to students. The district commends its staff and students for their commitment to excellence, enabling Mosinee High School to receive this award.

A portion of the day’s sales will be donated to the playground fundraiser! There will also be raffle baskets and a 50/50 raffle.
