The Grand Theater • 401 N 4th St, Wausau Mosinee School District strongly encourages parents, students, and community members to attend this FREE event that aims to raise awareness about sextortion and its impact on youth. Mosinee High School’s Construction 3 students have been hard at work on this year’s Habitat for Humanity house and would like to invite community members to an Open House on Monday, May 12th from 3:30 pm - 5:30 pm. The house is located on the north side of the high school in the staff parking lot. This open house gives the public the opportunity to tour the house and see the quality work completed by the students over the course of the 2024-25 school year before the house is moved to its permanent location.

Open Enrollment Dates – February 3 - April 30, 2025 The Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction (DPI) has announced the dates for public school Open Enrollment for the 2025-26 school year. Children in 4K to grade 12 may apply to attend a nonresident school district under the open enrollment program. However, a child may transfer to a nonresident school district for early childhood education or 4K only if the child’s resident school district offers the same type of program and only if the child is eligible for that program in the resident school district. The regular open enrollment application period for the 2025-26 school year begins on February 3, 2025, and ends at 4:00pm on April 30, 2025. Late applications will not be accepted.
